Refund Policy
At The Village Elder, we are committed to providing high-quality coaching, classes, and training experiences. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we aim to handle refund requests with fairness and clarity.
1. General Policy
All payments for services — including self-defence training, Tai Chi & Chi Gung classes, and life coaching sessions — are non-refundable once a session or class has commenced. However, we are happy to assist with rescheduling or crediting unused sessions under reasonable circumstances.
2. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before a scheduled session to avoid being charged in full.

If adequate notice is given, we will offer a credit toward a future class or rescheduled session.

Failure to attend without notice may result in forfeiture of fees.
3. Class & Program Refunds
Refunds for pre-paid programs may be considered if:

The class or service is cancelled by The Village Elder.

You are unable to attend due to unforeseen medical reasons (with appropriate documentation).
In such cases, refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7 business days.
4. Event or Workshop Refunds
For workshops, events, or seminars, cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the event may be eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event may receive a 50% refund or credit toward future bookings.
5. Digital Products & Materials
All digital resources, such as videos or downloadable materials, are non-refundable once accessed or delivered.
